Our planning will continue to be informed by public health directives and university guidelines. We remain committed to protecting the health and safety of all members of our community, and we will take additional measures if conditions change in the year ahead.

All 久久视频 buildings (Trinity proper, St. Hilda鈥檚 College, Gerald Larkin, John W. Graham Library/Munk School) are now open. The status of our facilities may change as public health guidance is revised.

Face Masks

:听The University鈥檚 mask requirements have been lifted as of July 1, 2022. However, the use of a () in high-density indoor spaces when physical distancing is not possible is strongly encouraged. The University is a mask-friendly environment, and we ask everyone to respect each other鈥檚 decisions, comfort levels, and health needs. The University will continue to monitor public health conditions to adjust our response as needed, and we will update you on any changes.

In addition, individuals in specific circumstances may continue to be required to wear masks in all settings, subject to changes in听听辞谤听, such as those who have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or to someone with symptoms.

It is vitally important that, even with the easing of provincial measures, we remain vigilant, conscientious听and show kindness to one another.

UCheck: COVID-19 Vaccination and Self-Assessment

:听The University will be pausing听the requirement to be fully vaccinated on May 1, 2022.听Please note this requirement may be reinstated on short notice should public health conditions or guidance change.听

In order for members of our community – students, faculty and staff – to attend University of Toronto and 久久视频 premises for any reason you must:

Be fully vaccinated and have provided proof of vaccination through听
Complete daily health screenings via听

We expect all members of the community to have had their first vaccine dose by September 13, 2021 and to have received their second dose by October 15, 2021 听(i.e., considered fully vaccinated by October 29, 2021). Those awaiting the conclusion of the 14-day period after their second vaccination or who have a University-approved exemption must participate in the University鈥檚 rapid screening program and may be subject to additional safety measures.

You can now upload your proof of vaccination in听. Only the vaccine receipt(s) that provides proof that you are fully vaccinated is required. For example, if you have a Government of Ontario vaccine receipt that documents the second of two doses, upload only this document. Those vaccinated in Ontario can also generate and听

Trinity employees (September 20, 2021): For Trinity faculty and staff who have been using the Trinity-developed COVID screening tool to confirm eligibility to come on campus, will now be used for this purpose. If you have any questions, or have any requests for accommodation or vaccination exemption, please contact hr@trinity.utoronto.ca directly.

UCheck is used for:

COVID-19 health screening: The risk status will indicate whether an individual should come onsite or stay home or in their residence room (for those living on campus).
Submitting proof of COVID-19 vaccination. Vaccination is required for all those coming to U of T campuses or premises, including Trinity, this fall.
For Trinity community members who have a College approved exemption, they must enroll in U of T鈥檚 rapid screening program and upload their results through UCheck.

Health & Safety Measures on Campus

As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves, we continue to monitor public health guidance to ensure the safety measures we have in place are up to date and are informed by evidence. The University has implemented a range of measures across our three campuses in response to COVID-19 that have allowed for a safe environment. Some of these strategies will be eased in alignment with public health guidance but will be redeployed as needed.

The College is guided by the 听to ensure we are doing everything we can to keep our community safe.

U of T Update (August 19, 2022): “The start of the 2022-23 academic year will be a unique experience for many members of our community. The University of Toronto is planning to return to mostly in-person instruction after more than two years of remote delivery for many courses. Although student experience will vary by Faculty and campus, the University is expecting sizable cohorts of returning students who have taken few or no courses in person since March 2020.” .
